Cheerstyle Sublimation setup.

We recently installed a wide format sublimation printer and inks into a company in Durham, Cheerstyle owned by Michelle Connel are manufacturers and designers of lycra sportswear for Boxing, Gymnastics, Cheerleeding, Dance and Wrestling to name just a few of the fabulous items they produce.

Michelle has been in the manufacturing game a pretty while and her company has a wealth of experience they already have a plethora of Embroidery equipment and do their own digitising to ensure quality of product. They also work closely with lingerie specialists all products get manufactured here in the North East of England.

Here’s what Michelle had to say in a  recent interview about her new investment.

Having the Sublimation Printer will enable me to move my business to the next level – not having to outsource this part of the manufacturing process makes my prices more competitive, and gives me scope to offer my customers true customisation of their garments.  I already have orders coming in, and requests from companies that have heard that I have a sublimation printer, to not only print panels for them to use in their own businesses, but in one case to actually print and make the garments.  My main customer is thrilled that I can offer them the means to offer seasonal garments, and to print one-offs if necessary.

The support I have received from Ken, is second to none, and he never complains when I call him on a Sunday with a query (down to me have a steep learning curve on the design software, and actually not a lot to do with problems with the printer itself!)  When he came to install the machine, he actually helped me to put it together, which I should already have done first, but he didn’t mind.  He spent most of the day with me and didn’t go until he saw that I had the hang of how to get on. (He was also poorly which shows commitment – I would have cried off and stayed in bed!)  He always get right back to me, even when it is late (I am a night owl and sent a query thinking he would pick it up in the morning, but he got right back to me.Above and beyond the call of duty.  Top man (and I am not related or getting a bribe!)  I am a well happy chappie!
